Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower and uplift people from a place of "brokenness", end homelessness and overcome oppression, discrimination and hatred.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our partners and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. While there are multiple objectives for our organizations to create change for the betterment of our communities, our core initiatives include:

• ReEntry Assistance for ex-offenders working to transform themselves, we provide direct and referral assistance through services such as mentoring/coaching, transitional housing, substance abuse treatment, work-readiness and more.
• Through public education, advocacy and local programs, this group addresses the pervasive problems of our at-risk youth within the community such as anti-bullying, homeless youth, LGBTQ youth etc.
• We seek to improve the overall societal climate of inequality, racism and discrimination by advocating on behalf of oppressed persons within our community. 
• Seeks to meet the needs of the homeless population within our community. We meet them just where they are and provide basic survival supplies including food, water, sleeping bags,  clothing, bus tickets, vouchers and more. Renewed Hope Inc. builds relationships with our homeless neighbors and with social service providers in the Hampton Roads area so that we can connect people with services they need.
